Our perception of the world and everything we see, think and feel is shaped by our individual experiences.

Although we are usually aware of our thoughts, our feelings are more difficult to identify as they are often subconscious.

My figurative drawings and paintings are an expression of my own feelings. The result can be abstract. symbolic, humorous or emotional, and occasionally all of these. I am often surprised by what emerges.

I love to draw and paint every day and this portfolio is a selection of my art from the past ten years.

In the words of Buddha: "We are what we think. All that we are arises from our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world."

I work in acrylic gouache, watercolour, ink, pencil and charcoal.
